Curriculum

Curriculum is defined as all of the guided experiences of the child under the direction of the school.

The following subjects are taught to all students in Pre-K:
Religion, Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Music, Art & Handwriting

The following subjects are taught to all students in K through 5:
Religion, Reading, Language Arts, Composition, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Music, Computer Science, Library, Health, Handwriting, Spelling, Phonics, Spanish & Art

The following subjects are taught to all students in grades 6 through 8:
Religion, Literature, Language Arts, Composition, Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Music, Computer Science, Spanish, Health, Handwriting, Spelling & Art.


* Musical Instrument instructions are offered to students in Grades 1 through 8.

Structure

Grades Pre-K through 5 are primarily self-contained with the exception of the minor subjects. Departmental instruction is provided from grades 6 through 8.
