NEWS AND NOTES. . .from the Principal
February 8, 2012
*Re-registration Information: We are currently accepting
re-registration forms for students who will be returning to CTK. Please be sure
to read your packet carefully, and return the completed registration form to
the office. Tuition Assistance applications (PSAS) will be sent home, if
requested on the registration packet. We look forward to having all of our
students return for the 2012-2013 school year!
*Talent Show: Our annual talent show will take place
this Friday, February 10th,
at 6:00p.m. in the gym. All parents are invited to attend! Come and see
our students’ awesome talent!
*Book Fair: Our Book Fair Luau is scheduled from March
12th through March 16th. We will need volunteers to help
with this event. If you are able to help, please fill in the enclosed form and
return to Megan Consentino, c/o Corrine, gr. 5, by February 17th.
*Basket Auction Help Needed: Please refer to the “Help
Needed” form enclosed in this envelope. The return form should be returned to
Sandy Charmeski c/o Allison, gr. 8, ASAP. Thanks to all who volunteer to make
this such a huge success!!
*Grades PreK-3 Spring Musical Information: Students in
grades PreK-3 are invited to be “Dogpatchers” in the Li’l Abner Musical.
Parents of children in these grades are receiving information regarding the
schedule for rehearsals. Please call Mrs. Stadtmueller, 973.270.5671 if you
have any questions.
*Art Attack: The registration form for the next Art
Attack class is enclosed in this envelope. Please be sure that your form is
returned to school by February 22nd in order to be included in the
program.
*Kids Night Out: Our next Kids Night Out will take
place on Friday, February 24th. Please return the registration form
to Mrs. Grecco by February 17th.
*School Supply Kits for 2012-2013 School Year: Lynn
Budd is coordinating this program, which will provide you with an easy way to
order school supplies. Information and directions for ordering are included in
this envelope. Please note: ordering will close on May 11, 2012. Kits will be
delivered to school on the first day of school.
*Calendar Raffle Winners: Congratulations to the last
two winners: Linda Ivanitz from Naperville IL (ticket sold by Katie Collins)
and Laura Pinto from Hillsborough (ticket sold at Bingo). Each of these winners
won $400!
*Bingo Needs: We need plastic grocery bags for Bingo
clean-up. Also needed are cans of cake frosting. Thanks for your help!
