Christ the King Parish is a faith-filled community of almost seven hundred registered families. The parish offers many opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship through its many ministries, organizations, and social activities. Opportunities abound for both young and old to live and grow in their Catholic Faith under the guidance of the current pastor, Reverend Boguslaw Augustyn, C.Ss.R. Visitors and guests are warmly welcomed to join with parishioners in their daily celebration of the Mass. Masses are celebrated on Mondays at 12 noon and Tuesdays through Friday at 7am. Weekend Masses are celebrated on Saturday at 4:30pm, and Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am. Christ the King Parish office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. Please check our website often for special events, holy day and holiday observances. Or simply call our friendly parish office staff during normal business hours. Christ the King Parish is located at 211 Louis Street in Somerset County’s Borough of Manville. The parish was officially established on April 22, 1948 by Bishop William A. Griffin, who then appointed Father Eugene B. Kelly as the church’s first pastor. Father Kelly and his parishioners celebrated their first official Mass on May 23, 1948. |
